Opening hours

What are the opening hours of Korte Gasthuisstraat 39 in Antwerp?

Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm

1st Sunday of the month we are open from 12 noon to 6 pm

We are closed on public holidays.

What are the opening hours of Hoogstraat 2-4 in Antwerp?

We are open every day (incl. Sundays and public holidays - except for 25/12 and 1/1) from 10am to 6pm.

What are the opening hours of Grote Markt 25 in Mechelen?

Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

Order

What are the ways I can place an order?

You can place your order via the webshop .

For large orders (+50 pieces) and companies you can request a quote by email ( info@philipsbiscuits.be ).

You are also most welcome in our stores to discover and buy our full assortment.

Can I add a personal message to my gift?

Yes, you can enter a message in the ' Special Instructions for Order ' box during checkout. This will be printed on a card and included with the package. Prizes will not be included in the box.

Are all cookies available online?

Not our entire assortment is available on the webshop. For the entire assortment of cookies and other treats you are always welcome in our stores.

Can I have my order sent to a different delivery address?

Yes, during checkout you will have the opportunity to enter a delivery and billing address. You will first have to enter the delivery address and after choosing your payment method you will be able to enter a different billing address.

How can I place an order for a later date?

If you are placing an order for delivery at a later date, you can indicate this in the ' Special instructions for order ' field.

Can I still change my order after I have placed it?

We do our utmost to implement changes after an order has been placed, but we cannot guarantee this. If your order has not yet been processed, we can implement the change manually. Please send your request as soon as possible to webshop@philipsbiscuits.be .

What if my order is delivered late or incorrectly?

We have a processing period of up to 5 working days . We do our best to respect these periods. In case of problems we will contact you.

If something goes wrong with your order, we will be happy to find a suitable solution, such as a redelivery or a gift voucher (we do not issue refunds).

Delays by courier services (Bpost, DHL) are beyond our control. Also if the address was given incorrectly or the package was not picked up after delivery, we unfortunately cannot change this. The recipient will always receive a notification in the mailbox.

Can I place a large order for a company or event?

Yes, large orders are definitely possible!

If the desired product is available on our webshop, you can easily order it online. If the product is not available online or for larger quantities, it is often more convenient to place your order directly via e-mail. Send us your request via info@philipsbiscuits.be or bestellen@philipsbiscuits.be , and we will be happy to help you.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation is only possible if your order has not yet been processed . In that case, you will not receive a refund, but a gift voucher for the value of your order .

This voucher can only be used in our stores. Do you want to request a cancellation? Please contact us as soon as possible via webshop@philipsbiscuits.be .

Shipping

How much does shipping cost to Belgium and the Netherlands?

Belgium: €8.50 (Bpost)

Netherlands: €14.50 (Bpost)

These rates only apply to orders via the webshop.

Can I have an order shipped to another country?

You can indicate the desired country when placing your order.

Is your country not listed? Send an email to webshop@philipsbiscuits.be , then we will look at the possibilities.

Prices vary by region and are visible in the shopping cart or are available upon request.

Please note: Any customs charges/import duties will be borne by the recipient.

Will I receive a track & trace code?

Yes, you will receive a track & trace code with your order. If you are not present, the courier will deliver your package to the nearest post office or leave it in a safe place. You will receive a notification of this in your mailbox.

If the package remains uncollected, it will be returned to us after approximately 15 days. You will receive an email about this (also check your spam folder).

Delivery

What is the delivery time?

The delivery time depends on the number of orders to be processed. Please take into account a processing time of up to 5 working days . Deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not possible.

It is not possible to choose a specific delivery time, because the delivery depends on Bpost/DHL.

During busy periods such as Easter, Saint Nicholas and Christmas/End of Year, processing time may increase to 5 additional business days, excluding shipping. In December, courier services may also have longer delivery times. Place your order on time!

What if my cookies arrive broken or damaged?

We always pack our cookies as carefully as possible with sturdy protective material. However, they remain fragile treats and damage can occur during transport.

Philip's Bakery cannot be held responsible for breakage or damage in transit. However, we are always happy to find a solution together. In the event of damage, please contact us via webshop@philipsbiscuits.be , and we will look at the options, such as a replacement product or a voucher.

What if my delivery is delayed?

We do our best to process your order within the specified time. However, delays at courier services such as DHL and Bpost are beyond our control.

What happens if I am not at home when the delivery takes place?

If you are not present at the time of delivery, the courier will deliver your package to the nearest post office or leave it in a safe place. You will receive a notification of this in your mailbox.

The package will remain available at the courier for approximately 15 days. If it is not collected in time, it will be returned to us. You will receive an email about this (also check your spam folder)

What happens if my package is returned?

If your package is returned for any reason, we will be happy to find a solution.

Depending on the products in your order, we can resend the package. Please note: some products have a limited shelf life (for example 2 weeks). In that case, resending is not possible, but we will look for a suitable solution together that suits both you and us.

Is it possible to pick up my order in store?

Yes, it is possible to order online and collect your order in our stores:

Important: To ensure freshness, please state your desired pick-up date in the message field when ordering. You will receive a message as soon as your order is ready, with a maximum processing time of 5 working days .

Complaints and returns

Can I return my order?

Because we work with freshly packaged food , returns are not possible.

We carefully check all our products before shipping or collection and treat them with the utmost care. If something does go wrong, we will gladly look for a suitable solution, such as a replacement product or a voucher. Refunds are never possible.

Where can I go with a complaint?

We attach great importance to the satisfaction of our customers and are always open to feedback. If you have a complaint, please let us know via webshop@philipsbiscuits.be .

About our cookies

How long is the shelf life of the cookies?

The shelf life of our products varies:

Tin: 6 to 8 weeks

Ballotin: up to 2 weeks

Bags: up to 90 days

Speculaas figures: up to 5 weeks

Chocolate: up to 1 year

Display boxes: up to 6 months

Tip: Store all treats in a dry and cool place , but not in the refrigerator , to enjoy the flavour to the fullest!

What sweetener is used in your sugar-free products?

We use Zusto as a sugar substitute.

Zusto is a blend of prebiotic and plant-based dietary fibres, specially selected for their health benefits and excellent sweet taste.

Do you offer lactose or gluten free cookies?

We currently do not have any lactose or gluten free cookies in our range.

Because we work with ingredients that contain gluten and lactose in our bakery, we cannot rule out cross-contamination. Out of concern for people with intolerance or allergies, we therefore do not offer these products.

Do you offer personalized cookies?

Yes, absolutely! We offer personalized cookies as well as other custom options.
